FARM-TO-SCHOOL SURVEY
BISD has been selected to participate in a year-long professional learning opportunity called the Farm to School Institute.

As a part of this Institute, a team from the BISD community (teaching and food and nutrition staff, administrators, community members) will be attending a 3-day intensive in July.  At this intensive, the team will develop a farm-to-school action plan for BISD that integrates the community, classroom, and cafeteria by focusing on school gardens, food and nutrition education, and local procurement into school meals. Ahead of the intensive, we are seeking input from the BISD community that will be integrated into the action planning process through conversations and this survey

Thank you for sharing your input about the BISD farm-to-school program!

2024 AP TESTING

Bainbridge High School administered over 1300 AP exams this testing season, with approximately 550 students testing. AP exam scores will be released to student College Board accounts in early July. Check out College Board’s website for more information regarding how and when to access AP exam scores this summer. Students have until June 20th to send one AP score report for free to a college, university, or scholarship organization of their choice.

FROM THE NURSE'S OFFICE
The end of the school year is just about here! It is time to review your student's Asthma, Allergy, and/or Health 504 Plans.

A copy of your student’s plan has been mailed. Please review the plan, make any necessary changes, sign, and return it to the school at your earliest convenience. Washington State law (RCW 28A.210.310) requires that all students with life threatening health conditions have the needed medical orders, medication and/or equipment, and a nursing care plan in place, BEFORE THE STUDENT MAY ATTEND SCHOOL. Please click here for more information.
