I am delighted to welcome you to our community! My teaching journey began in 1992 with the Peace Corps in Lesotho, where I discovered my passion for education. Since then, I've been dedicated to nurturing young minds, teaching at Bainbridge High School for over two decades. I currently serve as the Math Department Chair, a role that allows me to support both students and fellow educators in achieving excellence in mathematics.

Outside the classroom, I am a proud parent of two wonderful sons who are now embarking on their own college adventures. This experience as a parent has deepened my understanding of the challenges and joys that students and families encounter.

I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, exploring new places, and conducting animal conservation research during the summer in South Africa and Peru. I look forward to another rewarding year together, filled with growth, learning, and success.
