While club sports are recognized as opportunities for our students to engage in specific sports and activities, they are not overseen by the Bainbridge Island School District and are managed by outside independent organizations. As a result, club sports are not district directed and are not subject to the policies and procedures of BISD. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to research and evaluate the club sport(s) prior to enrolling students.

Bainbridge Island School District does not sponsor or supervise club sports, and the district assumes no responsibility for club sports’ coaches, volunteers, transportation or any aspect of the club.  Questions related to clearance procedures for club sport volunteers should be directed to the organization directing the activity.  The Bainbridge Island School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action filed in any court or administrative tribunal arising out of allowing the club sports to be listed on the BISD website. This includes costs, attorney's fees, and judgments or awards.
