Hello! Thank you for your interest in the band program at BHS! I've been teaching at Bainbridge High School since the summer of 2012, and I've always loved it here. Before starting at BHS, I earned my BME at CWU and my MM at the University of Montana; I also taught for three years in other public school districts. I was a kid on Whidbey Island and grew up in rural Whatcom County, so when I landed on Frog Rock, I quickly felt at home.

Since starting at BHS, I have founded our Swing Dance, State Recital, Honors Program, the Puget Sounds Jazz Festival, built a guitar program from scratch, and a bunch of other fun things. I'm obsessed with making band at BHS a special experience for every student who signs up for one of my classes. We have multiple wind bands, a percussion ensemble, a developed jazz program, a competitive marching band, and a pretty cool guitar and songwriting sequence here.
