IMPORTANT INFO RE: Seniors' Last Week at BHS

Dear Senior Families,

We are approaching your final week at BHS! Please read regarding these upcoming events: 

NHS Awards Night ~ June 7 @ 6 PM

National Honor Society will host their annual Induction Ceremony on June 7 from 6 to 7:30 PM in Paski Gym, where members will receive awards and recognition for their accomplishments. All members are encouraged to bring their families along to celebrate. Cake will be provided! Graduating NHS seniors, please wear your graduation gown and stole - not your cap. Everyone else, please dress nicely.

Baccalaureate Ceremony ~ June 9 @ 3 PM
Baccalaureate is an optional, non-denominational service hosted by the Bainbridge Island Interfaith Council. It is not an official BISD event, but will feature BISD student speakers and musical performances. Seniors should wear their gowns to the service. Baccalaureate will be held at Saint Cecilia Church on June 9 at 3 PM. Senior students should arrive by 2:15 PM. 

Senior Finals ~ June 10-12
Senior finals will take place June 10-12 during the regular school day schedule. Teachers will communicate directly with their senior students regarding any final exams and projects.

Senior Check Out Day ~ June 13
June 13 is the seniors' last day of school. Students will attend Periods 1 - 4. After 2nd lunch, they will march the halls and check out with their counselor. Here is a detailed schedule of that day, and this is what is required to check out with their counselor. Seniors are welcome to start working on completing their checklist at any time.

Senior Awards Night ~ June 13 @ 7 PM
Senior Awards Night is June 13 at 7 PM in the BHS Theater. This is a time to recognize students who have been selected for various BHS and community scholarships and honors. Senior students who will be receiving an award will be notified by end of day Friday.

Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal ~ June 14 @ 10 AM 
Seniors will not attend any classes on June 14, but they will be expected to participate in graduation rehearsal. All seniors must arrive at Paski Gym by 10:00 AM.

Native Honoring Ceremony ~ June 14 @ 5:30 PM 
Bainbridge High School Native Honoring Ceremony has been a tradition for over 30 years. This year we will be honoring two BHS indigenous graduating seniors. The ceremony will be held in the BHS Commons at 5:30 PM on June 14.

Graduation Ceremony ~ June 15 @ 4 PM

The Bainbridge Island School District Graduation Ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 4 PM. in the Bainbridge High School Memorial Stadium, rain or shine. 

All graduating seniors must arrive at Paski Gym by 3 PM. to prepare for the ceremony. Doors will open to families and friends at 2:30 PM. Tickets will not be distributed this year. We have enough seating for approximately eight guests per graduating senior. 

Grad Night Out ~ June 15 directly following graduation
While not a BISD-sponsored event, GNO is a longtime Bainbridge tradition (67+ years). It is a fun-filled event for all graduates. It is sponsored by the parents of seniors and is a substance-free, chaperoned, all-night celebration. The evening marks the last opportunity to celebrate together as the Class of 2024. We welcome ALL senior graduates from Bainbridge High School, Eagle Harbor High School and Running Start. For more information, please click here.
