MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Hello BHS Community ~

On this holiday weekend, it is both an honor and a privilege to reflect on the life and legacy of a remarkable leader who dedicated his life to justice, equality, and the pursuit of a better world for all. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s teachings continue to inspire and guide us in our journey towards building a more inclusive and compassionate community.

Dr. King's dream was rooted in the belief that everyone deserves equal rights, regardless of race, color, or creed. As a school community, it is our responsibility to foster an environment that upholds these principles and actively works to dismantle systems that have contributed to oppression and marginalization.

In our high school, we celebrate our diversity and recognize the strength that comes from embracing our differences. Let us use this day as an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, educate ourselves on the ongoing fight for civil rights, and reflect on the actions we take to contribute and stand up for positive change.

At BHS we strive to uphold the principles of tolerance, empathy, and justice throughout the year. Thank you for your continued commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive school for ALL.

Go Spartans!

Kristina Rodgers, BHS Principal
