Next week marks another important step in our school year as students transition from our opening weeks of mandatory Tutorial into the regular Tutorial model, providing greater ownership of this dedicated time for academic support and enrichment. We’re also excited to welcome our families to BHS Open House on Wednesday, September 23, including special sessions for our freshman and senior families beginning at 6:00 PM and our general session at 6:30 PM. We hope you’ll join us, meet your student’s teachers, and experience firsthand the energy that makes BHS such a special place.

Fall Referral Window: September 21–October 9, 2026

BISD’s Highly Capable (HC) referrals are welcome during our fall window for students new to our district (since February 19, 2026) in grades 1–11. (Referrals for Kindergarten and currently enrolled BISD students will open during our spring window.)

If you’d like your student considered for HC services, please visit our BISD Highly Capable page for the timeline, program details, and the referral form.

Please complete the BISD referral and email documentation (e.g., assessment scores, grades, placement letters) to Drew Crandall at dcrandall@bisd303.org.

Deadline: Submit the referral (and any supporting documents, if applicable) by end of day Friday, October 9, 2026.

ASB memberships, 2026-27 BHS yearbook and fall participation fees may be purchased now through the online payment site. 

ASB MEMBERSHIP is required to participate in sports and clubs and will trigger discounts and waivers for various school events throughout the year. (Includes BHS ASB Membership Pass to sports events - see Athletics section above for more information)

YEARBOOK– Buying a yearbook is optional, however, we order based on the number of students who buy one at the start of the school year. Once the order is placed, the number of additional yearbooks available is limited and are sold on a first come, first served basis at the end of the school year. The deadline to pre-order is October 30th.

We are finalizing our on-campus parking assignments for seniors and juniors. If we have additional parking spots available after this week, Mr. Power will reach out to students individually. Reminder: Students are never allowed to park in any staff parking lots. As a reference, here are Maps for STAFF and STUDENT lots.
