Dear Families,
Once aging it has been an incredibly vibrant and busy time around our campus, and I want to take a moment to celebrate our students' incredible talents and share a few important updates as we head into the weekend.
It is your last chance to catch our spectacularly talented theater students in action. It is the final weekend of our spring musical, Little Shop of Horrors. If you haven't seen it yet—or want to see it one more time—be sure to grab your tickets.
The Spring Arts Festival was a resounding success! The Library and hallways were transformed by the truly beautiful artwork created by our students. Beyond the visual feast, attendees were treated to a delicious spread of sumptuous hors d'oeuvres. Thank you for supporting our thriving arts programs.
Please join your PTSO, Principal Novick and me tonight at 7:00 PM for a presentation of data from the 2025 Healthy Youth Survey. This data provides valuable insights into our students' well-being, challenges, and needs, and helps shape how we support them moving forward. We would love to have your voice in the conversation.
Our student-athletes also continue to shine! As the spring season wraps up, several of our teams and individual athletes are officially moving toward State level contests. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, grit, and sportsmanship. Let's all wish them the best of luck as they represent our school at the highest level!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community. I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
Warmly,
Ruth Medsker

All Seniors are required to formally check out of BHS before attending the Graduation Rehearsal Friday June 12. An email and Check Out form was emailed to your student’s frogrock account. On June 10 seniors will attend a senior meeting, walk the halls in their graduation gowns and return the Check Out Form to their school counselor in Paski Gym.
The form includes signatures for returning textbooks, their Chromebook, paying outstanding fines, Senior Survey completion (see below) and certification they have met all graduation requirements!
Part of the check out process asks seniors to fill out a Senior Survey using the Naviance app on their Chromebook. This survey allows us to collect data on their post high school plans as well as reflection questions during their time at BHS. It also reminds students to request their final transcript to be sent to their post secondary institution. Please have your student login to complete this survey today! Currently, 50% of the class of 2026 has completed the survey.

All colleges (2-year and 4-year) require students to submit a final high school transcript, showing all courses taken, credits earned, final grade point average, and date of graduation. Senior students that plan to enter college in the Fall must log into their Parchment account (www.parchment.com) to request a final transcript be sent to the college they will be attending in the fall. Final Transcripts will not be sent until final grades are posted. Grades for spring semester will be posted by June 23. It is important that students let their college know that their final transcript will not be sent via Parchment until that date, or by June 26!

Bainbridge High School administered close to 1300 AP exams this testing season, with 509 students testing. AP Exam scores will be released to student College Board accounts in early July. Check out College Board’s website for more information regarding how and when to access AP exam scores this summer. Students have until June 20th to send one AP score report for free to a college, university, or scholarship organization of their choice.

As we approach the end of the year, now is a good time to check the online payment site for any outstanding food balances, fees and fines your student may have.
Fees may also be paid in person at the BHS accounting office.
FINES: You can use the online payment site to review overdue items that are listed as fines. Returned items will be removed when they’re returned in good condition. Lost or damaged items can be paid for through the payment site or in person at the BHS accounting office.
FEE WAIVER AND SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION - We would like ALL BISD high school students to have access to the many activities and academic opportunities that we offer at BHS. If your family is in need of financial assistance, information on how to access support can be found here on the BHS website.

The West Sound College Mixer is a unique event put on by Olympic College, Kitsap Strong and North Kitsap School District. The event aims to support our juniors and seniors (and their families) as they prepare for attending a four year college. For juniors, learn early on about the financial aid application process. For seniors, meet other local students that plan to attend the same college you do. Most of the WA colleges will be represented at the event and there will be a location reserved for out of state and/or students going to colleges not represented at the event. There will be a parent panel as well. See flyer in English and Spanish for more information.
