I am excited to be a part of your learning journey at BHS! I began teaching in 1993 in the Seattle area. Each year my passion for teaching and exploring mathematics grows. I joined Bainbridge Island School District in 2005, teaching at WMS for 14 years and then moving to Bainbridge High School. I currently serve as the National Honors Society Advisor, supporting students in community service while achieving their academic goals.
I have two children who are both BHS grads. My son Max is a Bainbridge Island firefighter and my daughter Mia is studying at Western Washington University.
I am passionate about creating a supportive and fun learning community where every student feels safe taking risks and honoring their disequilibrium. In my free time, I enjoy walking, gardening, reading, watching soccer and connecting with my family and friends. I look forward to a great year together!
