I began my teaching career at Bainbridge High School in 2013 after graduating with an MTMS from Seattle Pacific University. When first joining the BHS team, I taught Marine Science and Forensic Science. After two years, I taught Biology full-time and then shifted to also teaching AP Biology the next year.

I grew up in Bremerton, WA where I attended Silverdale Elementary, Woodlands Elementary, Fairview Junior High and eventually Olympic High School. From there I attended Central Washington University, bounced back to Olympic College and then commuted over to Seattle to attend Seattle Pacific University. I have degrees in Education, Biology and Ecology.
