Spirit Week image

Message from the Principal

As we approach our final week before Spring Break, to lead into the break with some school spirit, we will be hosting a Spirit Week starting Monday. This is a great opportunity for students to take a break from their usual routine and participate in some lighthearted daily themes. Please refer to the attached image for the full schedule of dress-up days and participation details.

On a more serious note, we have observed a significant increase in tardiness lately, particularly during the first period. We want to remind students and families that being in class on time is the expectation for our BHS students. Arriving before the bell allows students to receive crucial start of class instructions. Late arrivals to class disrupt the flow of learning for the rest of the class. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring students arrive promptly as we head into this final stretch of the year.

Please also keep in mind that the quarter officially ends on April 13th, which is the week immediately following our return from Spring Break. With the deadline fast approaching, this coming week is the ideal time for students to resolve any outstanding assignments and check in with their teachers. Staying on top of these responsibilities now will ensure that everyone can enjoy a restful and stress-free break.

Warmly,
Ruth Medsker
