Spartans are State Champions!

Girls Water Polo are State Champs! Perfect season capped by an overtime win 7-6 over Curtis, bringing home the Championship, first time in 22 years, dethroning the 4x State Champs Curtis in their own pool. Congrats Coach Kristin Gellert and team!

Girls Track 4x200 are State Champs! The team set a 2A State meet record and school record running a 1:40.70. Congrats Ollie Tietje, Ema Delecki, Maya Zick, and Cate Torrell! Other notable finishes: Cate Torrell 3rd in the 100 and 2nd in the 200. Evelyn Shutske 8th in the 800m and 7th in the 1600m. Vega Hendrickson 5th in the 3200m. Ignacio Llorens finished 2nd in the 1600 and 800m while setting school records in each. Ryan Dodge 7th in the 3200 and Milo Kilby 8th in the pole vault. Congrats Coach Jena Winger and team!

Boys Soccer are State Champs! Capping a perfect season with a win in PKs over #3 seed Squalicum 3-2. Goalie Cooper Harrington was the hero of the game with three saves during PKs. Congrats Coach Mark Nowak and team!

Baseball are back to back State Champs! Capping a perfect season with a win over #2 Tumwater in extra innings 1-0. Tenzing Dikman with a walk-off hit, and Evan Morgan scoring the winning run. McCrae Curfman threw all 8 innings without allowing any runs. Congrats Coach Thomas Henshaw and team!

Water Polo, Soccer and Baseball join Boys Golf as Spring State Champions and our other 2025-26 State Champion teams: Boys Cross Country, Girls Swim & Dive and Boys Swim & Dive. Roll Sparty!

Spartan Sailors recorded their best ever finish at the ISSA Mallory National Championship in New Orleans last weekend, congrats Beckett Ladenburg, Stone Dewey, Cyrus Yan, Carson Domansky, Emma Jackson and Nelson Dorsey! They placed 15 out of 20 among the country’s top programs and finishing as the top Northwest team in the field. Congrats Coach Chris Walker and team!

Bainbridge Island Rowing is Nationals Bound! US Rowing Youth Nationals will be in Sarasota, Florida on June 11-14. Three boats will represent Bainbridge Island ~ good luck Paige Murphy, Hazel Hamilton, Quinn Jackson and Vail Manning! Congrats Coach Chelsea Vessenes and team!
